About us

The Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh

Founded in 2001 with approval from the Ministry of Commerce, ICGAB brings together professionals from industry, universities, corporations, and NGOs. We prepare students to take responsibility for accounting and financial roles with confidence.

Our syllabus follows IFAC guidelines so graduates meet international expectations while serving Bangladesh’s institutions.

I welcome all members and well-wishers. The Institute of Certified General Accountants of Bangladesh is a non-profit organisation founded on 19 March 2001 to promote and regulate the general accounting profession across the country.
